Will continue the G&F RPG for another week since the plot is getting good. I will also start up the regular RPG up on Monday.

You all are doing a great job with the RPGs-they are great fun to read! approval

Just read it! Marvelous! makes me wish PBS was playing this series also, so I could compare it. I actually could see the players in my mind doing this! Very good job!

Yes,

The G&F/AYBSA RPG storyline is realistic. I believe there was a Jessica Lovelock who was Old Mr. Grace's secretary in that show. I watched it once years ago, but PBS stopped it after the episodes played one cycle. I think there was two seasons or something, any anyways the first one seemed funny but the last episode or so were lame in comparison to the original AYBS. After all the supporting cast as well as Lucas, Spooner, Harman were not included in the show. There was no new character added who could give the one-line sarcastic jokes that Lucas did in the original.

Good job everybody.

I have been ill recently, but I expect to visit the doctor tomorrow and hear that I am back on track. I look forward to playing Grainger and perhaps the Nurse as well. The Nurse shows up when the boss gets ill. However, illness happens when he sees a hot looking bird ... so he either needs a new secretary or to catch Shirley in a misunderstanding in the department. Or a cop out, would be to schedule a health and safety scheme, like vaccinating everyone or preaching a healthy diet or something.

I am glad to hear that you doing better, Libby.

Yes, before I was ill, I attended the official star trek convention in my hometown. I kind of made me miss participating in an e-mail based RPG.

Thank you Mr. Grace (as I bow)!

Well Ride Up since I am a Trekker too, I can totally understand. I'm glad we're going to keep the G&F one going. I'm on a roll now LOL!

Yes there was a Jessica Lovelock in G&F. She played Young Mr. Grace's personal assistant and it was her bikini top what popped off that sent him into his final heart attack. He was scuba (according to Miss Brahams' paper he was scruba diving) diving in the "Caribbeano".

No unfortunately with the new setting of G&F, there really wouldn't have been a good spot to bring in Mr. Lucas, Mr. Spooner or Mr. Harmon. Mr. Moulterd has to kind of make up for all three of them and he does an admirable job. He could never replace Mr. Lucas, Mr. Spooner or Mr. Harmon for me but, they had to have someone to aggravate Mrs. Slocumbe LOL! I like how that was handled for this latest G&F RPG. That was a very good idea whoever it was to have Mr. Mataxis resurface LOL!

Well we all know how well the last health scheme went down LOL! You know they never really did follow up on that track come to think of it. We never hear of anything.

Thank you Mr. Lucas. I have a nifty idea to bring back the haunting of Millstone Manor. It won't be just a fleeting thing. They'll all get to interact with the "thing" that walks the hallways LOL!

I have three pbs stations:
Vancouver
Seattle

However, I get the station from Detroit, but I need pay-per-view charges to watch it, because I guess no one else complained about it being bumped from "free cable" to pay-per-view.

Vancouver exclusively has British dramas. Seattle has both comedies and dramas, but mainly dramas. There is a paid cable (standard rate) channel called Vision that shows BBC comedies from 5 to 6 every week day. AYBS comes at 5:30 on Tuesdays, but I usually have a class now at that time. The most often broadcasted British comedy in my area is Keeping Up With Appearances.

Maryland PBS stations weekly play at least one episode usually two of Are You Being Served?, Keeping Up Appearances and As Time Goes By. We get rotations of Waiting For God, Chef, Fawlty Towers, Vicar of Dibley and Last of the Summer Wine. I don't ever see another favorite of mine any more One Foot In The Grave. They break out the other britcoms alot in their begathons. Are You Being Served? tho is very much a staple of any of their begathons. They get the most money from that one, Masterpiece Theater (and rightly so) and Mystery.

We also have 3 PBS channels. The one for Sesame Street and other kiddies shows...the one for government and the newer one called CREATE. The main one for Sesame Street shows AYBS? nightly at 7:30 and Sat. at 10p. On Saturdays at 7, It shows the Lawrence Whelk Show, then 2 episodes of Keeping up Appearances, then 2 of As Time Goes By, then 2 AYBS?

Lawrence Welk? There's some station that still shows Lawrence Welk LOL! My grandmother absolutely loved him. Sunday nights that was a given at her house. I used to have to sit thru LW before I could watch Ed Sullivan and Disney LOL! Don't forget Mitch Miller either.
